Altaris LNG

About

A South Texas liquefier, built to stay.

Altaris LNG LLC develops, owns, and operates modular cryogenic liquefaction in the South Texas border region. It is a wholly owned operating brand of IPWM Energy Fund II.

The company

Close the gas-access gap, then run the plant.

Large parts of South Texas still do not receive pipeline-delivered natural gas. Industrial, food, transportation, aerospace, and marine users buy diesel, propane, and trucked CNG at a premium to pipeline-served Texas markets. The neighboring Mexican border states face the same constraint, often served only by virtual LPG pipelines.

Altaris was formed to put small-scale liquefaction inside that market — in the San Benito area of Cameron County — and to deliver LNG by ISO container. The work is operating infrastructure, not a trading book: produce, store, dispatch, and show up again next week.

IPWM Energy Fund II

Backed to own rural energy infrastructure.

Innovative Private Wealth Management (IPWM) is a privately held investment advisory and asset-management firm. Its mandate includes rural energy infrastructure and real assets with durable operating roles in the communities they serve. Altaris LNG is the Fund II operating brand for small-scale LNG in South Texas.

How we work

Operators first.

Plant and fleet on one site

Liquefaction, treating, ISO loading, and dispatch are designed as a single operation in Cameron County — not a distant terminal plus a third-party trucker.

Commercial by market

Industrial, fleet, virtual-pipeline, aerospace, food-and-beverage, and marine each have different duty cycles. Offtake is structured to the use, not to a single posted grade.

Local operating team

Plant, maintenance, logistics, and commercial roles are based at the San Benito-area site, with hiring aimed at Cameron, Hidalgo, Willacy, and Starr Counties.

Cameron County

First-entry small-scale LNG for the Valley.

Local work

Construction and then permanent plant, maintenance, and driving jobs — W-2 roles based at the facility, with local hiring prioritized.

Energy access

LNG at industrial, agricultural, and commercial gates reduces the region’s reliance on diesel and propane for heat and mobility.

A plant that belongs here

Siting liquefaction in Cameron County puts production next to Boca Chica, the Port of Brownsville, and the border — the loads that define this market.

Room to grow

Modular units can be added as demand is contracted. The first plant is a platform, not a one-time pour.
