Altaris LNG

Altaris LNG LLC · South Texas / Rio Grande Valley

Small-scale LNG, delivered where the pipeline does not go.

Altaris liquefies natural gas in the San Benito area and moves it in cryogenic ISO containers. The product is for plants, fleets, launch sites, food processors, and vessels that still buy diesel, propane, or trucked CNG because the steel pipe never arrived.

Why Altaris

Pipeline energy, without waiting on a pipeline.

Built for the last mile of gas

South Texas and the adjacent Mexican border market still run on premium diesel, propane, and CNG. LNG in an ISO tank is how natural-gas energy reaches those gates.

Modular liquefaction

Factory-built units, treating, and fill stations — a plant that can be stood up and expanded without a stick-built mid-scale program.

A cleaner industrial fuel

LNG displaces diesel and propane in process heat, fleet duty, marine bunkering, and facility operations, with a smaller combustion footprint.

Operations

Treat. Liquefy. Load the ISO. Dispatch.

The San Benito-area plant is a compact liquefaction site with treating, modular liquefiers, storage, and an ISO yard. Product leaves by highway as a virtual pipeline.

  1. 01

    Inlet gas

Pipeline-quality natural gas is metered into the facility from regional transmission infrastructure serving the San Benito area.

  2. 02

    Treatment

A dedicated treating skid removes water, carbon dioxide, and sulfur compounds so the gas is ready for cryogenic service.

  3. 03

    Liquefaction

Factory-built modular liquefiers cool methane to liquid. Units run in parallel, so capacity can be added without rebuilding the plant.

  4. 04

    Transfer & storage

LNG moves to insulated storage and fill stations, creating a buffer between production and the truck schedule.

  5. 05

    ISO dispatch

Cryogenic ISO containers are loaded, weighed, and sent out as a virtual pipeline — fill, transit, and standby in rotation.
